The MOMMENPOP label is a collaboration between Samantha Sheehan at Poe Wines in Napa and Chez Panisse kitchen alum Mike Emmanuel. Made from a base of our Pinot Noir Rosé, this aperitif is floral and bright, with aromatics of grapefruit rind and warm rich spices. This is delicious on its own, or wonderful in a number of simple cocktails.
Made from a base of rosé of Pinot Noir from Mendocino. Fortified with brandy distilled from their local winery. 4,300 pounds of local, organic, whole Star Ruby and Oro Blanco grapefruit peels are added. Additionally, whole spices including rosehips, grains of paradise, Angelica, star anise, green cardamom, and cinnamon are added. The extractions take place in stainless tanks for 6 months, before a bit of organic sugar is added and the final product is bottled. There are no artificial flavors, coloring, or preservatives.
