Stony with lemony-lime drops, fresh flowers, guava & hibiscus. Palate is bright & playful with serious depth & texture, defined by seabed minerality lined with white peach notes. 100% Gruner Veltliner from two vineyards in the extreme cool climate of the Edna Valley, the historic Paragon Vineyard and Jack Ranch Vineyard, both heavily influenced by the cool, fog-driven winds of the Pacific Ocean and a mix of volcanic and oceanic soils. Cadre is a gem of a winery, with John Niven's grandfather planting the first vines in the region in 1973, including the Paragon Vineyard. John and his wife Lucy are stewards of the land and Edna Valley's story.
