Lemon pith, bursting with salinity and minerality, hints of mandarin and white peach. Palate is gentle and balanced with integrated orange, stone and citrus. Carbonare means coal, and refers to the black volcanic soils where the vineyard was planted in 1945 on Monte Carbonare. 100% Garganega vinified only in Stainless Steel to preserve the freshness and liveliness of the wine. The Tessari family who has grown grapes in Soave since the late 1800s describes this wine as “earth in a glass”—a pure expression of their volcanic terroir. In 1982 Giovanni and Rosetta Tessari began producing their own wine, now run by their daughters.
