Golden in color. Honeysuckle and orange blossoms on the nose, with lime zest and rich white flowers. On palate, smooth ripe orange, stones and rays of sunshine. High elevation vineyards are used to preserve freshness and acidity. 50% Rabigato, with Viosinho, Arinto, and Códega.
Casa Ferreirinha dates back to around 1845, when Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira (nicknamed ‘Ferreirinha’ – ‘the little Ferreira’) took over her family's Ferreira Port, the first Portuguese family-owned Port House in the Douro. By the 1950's Casa Ferreirinha embarked on making un-fortified wines in the Douro, setting the stage for their iconic wines of today.
