Dark berry fruits, black berries, black currant, plums and clove.  Baked tart berries, boysenberries, cranberries, pomegranate - pure fruit on a mineral backbone. Liter format with crown cap closure indicates this wine is intended for sharing and gulping without too much thought. Fausto and Cinzia Cellario are 3rd generation winemakers who believe in working with indigenous Piemontese grape varieties and traditional vineyard work and the cellar practices. 100% Barbera, produced in a natural, organic, low-intervention style and aged in 100hl cement tanks for one year. Unfined, unfiltered.
