Chalky minerality on a fresh, clean, crisp and lean yet energetic palate; Pear, pineapple, rocks & linen. 100% Pinot Gris, fermented with wild yeast in Stainless Steel. Winemaker Henry Ratcliff is working with his brother Ashley Ratcliff of Ricca Terra, to bring off-the-beaten-path grape varietals (for Australia) to the mainstream. These Italian varieties were brought here over 20 years ago by Ashley in an effort to find suitable grapes as winegrowers adapt to a changing climate. Easy for summer sipping, but giving a wonderfully interesting texture with floral notes.
