Volcanic minerals jump from the glass, with dry tropical notes of lemon, pineapple, papaya playing with white grapefruit on the nose. Palate is bright and complex with pineapple woven with minerals and white peach on a volcanic finish. Winemaker Elisa Trovato is dedicated to cultivating and expressing the native varietals of this region of Mount Etna terroir where she was born. She has a deep connection to the relationship between the volcano and the land, with these grapes coming from high altitude on the slopes of Mt Etna where the lava soil gives the wine complexity.  100% Carricante, indigenous yeast, low intervention winemaking.
